PACK's Success Stories
Kayla Swan
Last year was the hardest year of my adult life. After the death of my spouse in August then in October my kids and i became homeless being pretty deep in active addiction i by the grace of god was reached out to by a member of PACK. i was waiting for a bed in a treatment center. PACK has helped my family in so many ways… paying for a hotel room for the month of December so i could have chrismas with my kids. They paid for my way to Vancouver to Heartwood center for Women. They were able to bring one of my kids so she wouldnt be so anxious while i was away for the 90 day program. While i was there they supported me with funds to be able to get what i needed for the 3 months in the treatment center. Midway through, they were able too bring my mom and my kids to see me over night in a hotel as well as paid for a movie and dinner so the trip would be memorable for my babies and I . They even brought my #1 supporter my Mom to suprise me for my grad from Heartwood. I have been given so many blessings and am now in the process of being able to become a member of the organization that i will forever hold so close to my Heart. With their ongoing support i am hoping to remain in sobriety and one day help others in whatever ways i can. Im not sure a thank you to them would be enough. This is just the begininng of the relationship i will have with PACK. Forever Grateful
